“ My wife and I met some friends from Europe in NY just before Christmas. I needed a drink and couldn't be bothered with all the fancy bars in fancy hotels so picked Milano's Bar, WOW what a great choice. the place is exactly what I was looking for a typical old time dive bar. The staff were awesome and the beer was cold, what more do you need. see you next time. ”

“ Solid dive bar! Came here because we were looking for a spot to watch the Knicks playoff game and other bars were packed. Milano's had the tv in the back playing the game. Good variety of music played. Two beers were $14. They don't accept card for anything less than $20. ”

“ According to my NYC connection, this bar has been here for 140 years. I'm guessing that's 'give or take' a few years. Long narrow room, 2/3 of one side is the bar, the other 3rd is seats and walking between seats and the wall. Although space is at a premium, the bar staff (just the one, plus the manager) is friendly and attentive. It's dark, no frills, loud and basically a NYC local watering hole. What's not to love? ”
